Why is fitness important to you?

Fitness is so much more than just losing weight or changing how our body looks. It's about changing how we see ourselves and it's so important to me to push myself to love myself more everyday, as well as encourage others to do the same! 

Why would you tell someone to try True40?

Umm hello, it's the BEST! I have been a long time fan of the community and encouraging environment here. It's an honor to be a part of it and I hope everyone feels as loved as I do when they come in. 

What are you deathly afraid of?

Blood. Nope, just no. 

If you were stuck on a desert island, what 3 things would you bring?

My husband, water filter and protein powder. 

What is one item on your bucket list?

Hike a 14er!! Ask me in a year to make sure I've done it :) 

What is one thing most people don’t know about you?

I'm named after Taylor Dayne, the 80's pop sensation!

Where are you from and where did you grow up?

I'm from Birmingham, AL & currently live in a 100+ year old house downtown! 

What brought you to Birmingham and what do you do here outside of True40?

I moved back to Birmingham after living in Auburn for college (War Eagle!) because I love this city! Outside of True40, I am a wedding photographer. If I ever have free time , you might find me backpacking with my husband or hanging at a local coffee shop. 

What is the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given?

Everyday is a good day, some are just better than others :) 

How do you love your body and stay true to you?

I love my body by nourshing it with what it needs, but also showing myself grace when I want that 2nd cookie. Life is all about balance! I stay true to myself by loving others, honoring my body wherever it is at today and enjoying every day I am given.
