Why is fitness important to you?
Exercise is important for physical and mental health. Working out releases endorphins as well as promotes cardiovascular and musculoskeletal health. Its also fun! Especially True40 :)
Why would you tell someone to try True40?
It is a very balanced workout that targets every muscle group, is fun and encouraging and every fitness level can do it!
What is one item on your bucket list?
I want to visit so many places! But New Zealand is probably #1.
What is one thing most people don’t know about you?
I wear a retainer and glasses at night-very attractive. :)
Where are you from and where did you grow up?
I grew up here in Birmingham and went to Hoover High School.
What brought you to Auburn/Birmingham and what do you do here outside of True40?
My husband and I moved back to Birmingham a little over a year ago from Boston after being in seminary for him and PA school for me. We wanted to get back to the South and we love Birmingham! I work in Oxford, AL as a PA at a dermatology office and my husband is the assistant pastor at a church in Fairfield.
What is the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given?
How do you love your body and stay true to you?
I try and abide by the 80/20 rule, by eating healthy 80% of the time and treating myself the other 20-sometimes this gets a little off :)) also 80% of fitness is what you put into your body and 20% is exercise!
